Partner Titles are similar to what is known here in Catalonia, Spain as “Titols Participatius” – a financing mechanism used by housing cooperatives, offered to individuals or legal entities seeking to support sustainable projects. They allow the cooperative to finance itself without relying exclusively on banks, offering investors a fixed annual return (generally between 2% and 2.5%) and the return of capital at maturity, usually from 2-3 years.
The Permaculture Barcelona Hub is opening a similar campaign of six Partner Titles, each Title corresponding to an investment worth €1,000.
The person investing in the Title can choose two types of Title, both equally important to the development of the Hub:
• The Power Up Title – this title recognises that the Hub needs some quick funding to finish the renovations in order to be able to host trainings and hosts visitors in the two guest bedrooms.
– Renumeration: 5% return at the end of 2026
– Free participation in one day Hub events
– A discount on multiple day events
– Some nights of guest stays and free participation in one day Hub events for friends/family of the Title holder
– The details of the last two perks to be co-created together with Alfred Decker
• The Dive Deep Title – this title offers a longer term financial exchange with the Hub.
– Remuneration: 2.5% per year over two years, payable annually
– Free participation in one day Hub events
– A discount on multiple day events
– Some nights of guest stays and free participation in one day Hub events for friends/family of the Title holder
– The details of the last two perks to be co-created together with Alfred Decker
Notes:
- Alfred can sign for the title loan at a “Notario” (notary public) here in Barcelona.
- It is possible to request different types of remuneration other than what is proposed above, please contact Alfred to discuss options.
- It is also possible to request an early return of either Title investment.
