Join Starhawk and Alfred Decker to discuss and debate Social Permaculture at a public event during their current Earth Activist Training course at Grain&Sens ecovillage in France.
Social permaculture is about connection – between people, economies, and governing structures – and creating the conditions for humans to flourish on a societal level. The ethics and principles of permaculture suggest a strong critique of current forms of social organisation and economic relationships. Learning about ecological principles and patterns can help us to transform our human interactions and organisations to be dynamic, responsive to change and a means of flourishing for everyone involved.
Time: Aug 7, 2026 21:00 – 22:30 Central European Summer Time / 20:00 UK Time / 22:00 Palestine Time.
The free event will be offered simultaneously in-person at Grain&Sens (Ardèche, France), as well as online. Register for the online session and receive a recording afterwards by signing up HERE.
“Why Social Permaculture” is a taster of the full day Earth Activism & Social Permaculture training that Starhawk and Alfred will facilitate in-person and online from the Permaculture Barcelona Hub on September 5!
